Set Yourself a Challenge

As a coach, I am always going to advocate the benefits of having a coach or a mentor to guide you through your life and to help you to maximise opportunity and achieve greater success. If you have ever had a coach you will know that their job is not to tell you what to do but to coax you into understanding where it is you want to get to and then holding you to account for taking action to get there.

Goals, ambitions and actions, linked together with accountability; it’s a formula that works.

So if you don’t have a coach right now, you can still benefit from some self-motivated action planning. Why not set yourself a challenge – but make it manageable. Start with a 30-day challenge.

  • What could you achieve in one month?
  • What part of your life could really benefit from such focus?
  • How great would it feel to see what you have achieved within the next 30 days?

30 days is short enough to keep interested but long enough to achieve a lot. Focus on one thing or multiple actions that all work together to achieve something bigger. But whatever it is you want to achieve, write it down at the start and the revisit it every day to keep yourself on track. If you have lots of actions to complete make sure you mark them off and celebrate achievements. At the end take some time out to work out what went well, what changed and recognise just what you have achieved and how that focus made a difference.

If you need help just kicking yourself into action you can always ask! We all need help at point along the way.

Then perhaps you could move on to a 100-day challenge……<img class="size-medium wp-image-978 aligncenter" src="×251.png" alt="Untitled design" width="300" height="251" srcset="×251.png 300w,×644.png 768w,×533.png 636w,×268 cialis rezeptfrei holland.png 320w,×200.png 239w, 940w” sizes=”(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px” />.
